What do I get when I sign up?+
A full redesign of your website, drafted by Eddy from your real content and checked by Jordan, with $0 setup. Your plan's launch credits pay for it: 18 on Eddy, 30 on Super Eddy, 45 on Eddy Max. After launch, your plan keeps the site hosted, secure and backed up, and Update Credits cover the changes you ask for.
Does the redesign use my Update Credits?+
No. The redesign uses your launch credits, which are separate. Your monthly Update Credits start after launch: Eddy pays $89 a change, Super Eddy includes 2 a month and Eddy Max 3 a month. Launch credits must be used within 60 days of starting and never roll into your monthly credits.
What's an Update Credit?+
One credit is one change to one existing page section: up to 150 words of copy, an image swap, or a new section built from existing blocks. Eddy drafts it, Jordan checks it, and it's live within 2 business days. A new page is 3 credits. Unused monthly credits roll over for up to 3 months.
What if my site is bigger?+
A page uses 3 credits, so launch credits cover about 6, 10 or 15 pages, depending on your plan. Bigger sites can add credits at $89 each or 5 for $349. Online shops, member logins, booking or CRM integrations (from $990) and new copywriting (from $490) aren't included.
What never costs a credit?+
Always free: fixing our own mistakes, and updating your contact details or opening hours. Hosting, SSL, daily backups, uptime and security watch, updates, and broken-link and form fixes are part of every plan, so they never use a credit either.
Is setup really $0?+
Yes, $0 on every plan. We just need your card on file, your first month paid upfront and a signed 12-month agreement before build work starts. We earn our keep over the 12-month minimum instead of through one large upfront invoice.
Do I own my website?+
While you're subscribed, the site is licensed to you. Elphick Digital owns the design and code. Your logo, photos, words and domain name are always yours. If you cancel, the site comes down, unless you take the buyout to own it outright. A buyout is any unpaid months left in your 12-month minimum, plus an ownership fee matching the one-off package, less 10% for each full year paid (to 50% at most). We'll confirm your exact figure in writing before you decide.
What is a pay monthly website?+
A custom website you pay for monthly instead of all at once. One price covers the redesign, hosting, care and your changes, from $129/mo with $0 setup and a 12-month minimum. After that it's month to month with 30 days' notice.
Do I have to buy anything after the concept?+
No. The concept is free and yours to keep. No card, no call and no obligation. If you like it, we'll talk about making it real. If you don't, that's completely fine.
